Crossfire

This was one of the best games in our house.  We’d spend hours firing those ball bearings at the puck desperately defending our goal and trying to score frantically pulling the trigger whilst scrabbling at the ball bearings trying to reload.

A totally brilliant game aside from one painful drawback. The huge blisters that would adorn our trigger fingers which no amount of plasters could stop happening. Still a small  price to pay for one of the most exciting games from the 70s.

Price circa 1976 from Argos £6.25 and well worth every penny.

70s Toys & Games

Remember the old retro toys you used to play with? Did you bounce about on spacehoppers, play pong or ride around on your cool Chopper? Can you recall the heroes Twirling Tim and Hurricane Hank, and who they used to do battle with in the arena? Did you used to come home from school with bruised knuckles from trying to beat 100 clacks on your Klackers? Or was you the studious type carefully making lovely patterns with your Spirograph which, no matter how careful you were, always seemed to cut through the paper turning your masterpiece into a mess.
