Rennie – Hi people, I don’t know about you but apart from the platform shoes my fave fashion item had to be the Starsky jumper. I really loved t and would love another so if anyone still has the knitting pattern and a nan who can knit let me know

Aelf – I’ve a nan who can knit as long you want knee warmers too and your arms are 4 feet long.

Imp – I actually knitted a starsky jumper for one of my brother in laws, think I got the knitting pattern out of the Jackie magazine which was full of really cool stuff, lots of posters and the Cathy and Claire page for teenage problems. In fact I think I still have a couple of the annuals around. If I find the pattern I’ll email it to you Rennie LOL.

Think you can take patterns into some knitting shops and you pay them to knit it for you
