pub games – arcade style

klm – I loved the old space invaders games found in the pubs.
Slipped into pubs underaged, drank pepsi from a glass bottle with a straw and played spaceinvaders and that strange astroid game with the crazy triangle that shot missiles. Karen.xx

Suze – Have you tried the ones on here no way can I get on the top scorers they’re way too good

Aelf – Muahahaha Space Invaders ….. I own it

Sandie – Space Invaders…………….WoWWWWWWWW
My favourite Pub Game……Always got one of the top scores…
Had it a while ago on my comp but seem to of lost it now….
Shameeeeeeeeeeee ! ! ! ! ! !!

Rennie – Sandie go to the games page and you’ll see the online arcade game section.
Aelf has posted a pretty good score but I reckon it can be beat.

Sandie -Having a Thick Moment Here……………..Helpppppppppppppppppppp
Dowloaded and sorted out so much music today my brain has frozen Can’t find the arcade games……….. need to play need to play……………..got withdrawal symptoms…..

TankTop – Calm down now, calm down

Rennie – It’s also on the homepage just click the game machine

Sparky – Any one remember the table top space invaders?
I was working as a service engineer at the time and we put one in a pub on Friday lunch time. I had to empty it Sunday lunch, it was jammed full of 10p pieces. I counted out over £400, and the machine only cost £1500. That unit didn’t take long to pay for itself!

Rennie – Oh my god….. but can see why they’re just so addictive.
You can get little units that now just plug into your telly with 4 or 5 classic retro games.

Awombleforever I got somthing like that off QVC

Steel Bat – The early space invaders had a lever to move left & right rather than buttons which I think was better. The first machine that I saw in a local pub was table-tennis, just crude bats and ball.
I bought a binatone portable tennis machine with a bright orange case. It lasted about two days.

Jack Regan – I was addicted to a game called scramble had real difficulty getting to the end though as you needed a steady hand. LAos loved missile command and a game that had threw lots of funny sided shapes and you had a button that you tried to zap them with that you would spin round.

James Blast – can we have that in English please

David – I’m a pinball guy myself.
I used to be quite handy on the flipper. Remember queuing up your 10p pieces and trying not to tilt….. I’m going to get myself a pinball machine one day.

Glam-Rockette – Well David what can i say, a man after my own heart.
I used to think i was pretty good at the pinball machines, I used to win lots of free goes. Mind you my reactions were a lot quicker then lol

Rennie – Hi Jack
I think the game you’re referring to is Asteroids..

Tiger Feet – Original space invaders was fab. Also enjoyed pacman and asteroids.
