What was the Song-that you had your first Smooch to???

Soulsister – Hi- i was thinking the other day- whilst playing some old stuff-that my first smooch was to Puppy Love !!! And the second time was to Life on Mars. Just hearing those songs took me right back to the place, and event in my head. And i wondered what had happened to my dancing partner since-AAH- soppy devil!!

James Blast – Samba Pa Ti ~ Santana, and I didn’t enjoy it

Rennie – It would have to be the summer of ’76 and Misty Blue.
A lovely summer holiday down in Looe, Cornwall and my first love.

Awombleforever – I Love You Love,Gary Glitter.
Was on the floor at the time though,do they call that Dirty Dancing.

Glam-Rockett – I think mine was Hey There Lonely Girl and it was in a youth club with someone I don’t remember, but I’m sure he must of been a dish lol

Sparky – Don’t remember the song, but I can still smell the perfume!

Lainybins – Cherish” by David Cassidy at the Sutton Veny disco, 1972, with Andrew. He always wanted to be a TV producer and used to write radio plays. Years later I “found” him on Friends Reunited and he did indeed become a TV producer, and has recently moved to South Africa with his young family. I still think of him with fondness from time to time.

Tiger Feet – I think I must have been a later smoocher. I remember dancing to Three Times a Lady and Lovely Day. My smooching days didn’t begin till 78.

Glittergal – It was Leo Sayer When I Need You, in Cala Bona, in Majorca, with a spotty waiter called Paco, it was June 1977 and I was 14

I started building Escape in 2005 and in it’s early form I had the pleasure of a great 70s community. Sadly with Escape’s new design we couldn’t incorporate the old threads into the new forum but so we don’t lose all those magical old chats we’ve collected them all here for you to go back and read.
