Saturday Night Fever!! nice flairs

Karen – didnt J.Travolta film that movie whilst his girlfrind was dying? Pretty sad stuff…launch your career but lose your partner…. Movie – awful story line, Great- fantastic dancing moves.
At a party, saw a couple who dressed the same ( both wore matching hush puppies shoes ) dancing AKA s.night fever.

Aelf – I can remember the disco dancing championships on telly. Was really funny

Imp – I have a confession
I had to go to ballroom dancing lessons as a kid, besides ballet, tap and acro eep… but besides learning how to waltz and quickstep we eventually were taught disco.. ROFL!!

I actually preferred the latin american dancing to all the other types, still do for that matter, but I remember being on stage at one point in a red ra ra skirt with glitter all over my face disco dancing like there was no tomorrow….

Hattie – Remember going to see Saturday Night Fever twice at the pictures… were the days when u could go in half way through a film and watch the whole thing again, isnt a good story line but the music and dancing made up for it

Imp – I remember having to wait in an enormous queue to get in to see the film, was with my first boyfriend Andy, HA, we didn’t get in and ended up seeing International Velvet instead. Needless to say the romance didn’t last too long after that.

Glittergal – OMG, I lurve this film, and isnt John Travolta as Tony Manero just soooo sexy and gorgeous, love the story, love the soundtrack

Glam-Rockett – I think John Travolta is soooooooooooooo sexy in this, but he is sooooooooooooo sexy anyway

Rennie – a bit like me at Butlins??? I’m sure you can see the resemblance

I started building Escape in 2005 and in it’s early form I had the pleasure of a great 70s community. Sadly with Escape’s new design we couldn’t incorporate the old threads into the new forum but so we don’t lose all those magical old chats we’ve collected them all here for you to go back and read.
