Seventies Man

I was watching a documentary called the World In Action years which looked at the Granada TV current affairs show. It included so many clips from the 1970s and had such a rawness and excitement to it. These were the days before hidden cameras, so journalists could not hide. They had to be upfront and in the face of the bad guys and sometimes the bad guys were their own governments.

Some gripping coverage of the Ireland problems and some of the classic 1970s investigations really pissed off our government and the yanks too when discussing the outcome of the Vietnam war.
Is there a programme on air now that does such a great job?
