Seventies Man

I was speaking to a very old person recently. Then I realized they were younger than me!!

We spoke about sweets and recalled some of the strange sweets we both use to enjoy from the sweet shop on the way to school.

White Mice
Fizzy Cola
Gob Stoppers….so dangerous when you look back it now
Sweet Tobacco which I so hated!!
Supermouse chocolate bar yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy

And I remember collecting cards in one of the chocolates to my favourite TV show LAND OF THE GIANTS….oh those memories.

Land of the giants/ Batman/ Tarzan/Monkees etc etc I had most sets which came with bubblegum, which explains a few teeth missing through getting through too much gum to get the sets I wanted lol, Civil war cards and the dollar bills that came with them, miss those days.

This is the place to share the memories of those great by gone days and help each other nudge those hidden gems out of the darkest recesses of your minds. Believe me there's a lot of them. Since I started this nostalgia site 7 years ago so many great memories have been cajoled out of my ageing grey cells by my forum friends that would never ever have seen the light of day again. So join in the fun and see what great memories we can help you recall.
