Seventies Man

I have recently been watching the classic 1970s LWT version of Upstairs Downstairs and it was SO SO SO much better than the remake on the BBC last year. The original had characters and actors who really made you believe that they were those people.

As for Hudson he was just amazing as he went on to The Professionals. And he was believable in BOTH parts. What an actor.
And it was not until last year that the actress who played Rose was the person responsible for the whole show. What a talent she was and is.

I know that husband and wife team appeared in it. John Alderton and his wife(Name forgotton). But I think this led them to have their own TV show called No Honestly
