I was looking under the “U’ section of the TV shows on the site and there standing all alone was Upstairs Downstairs. How about Gerry Anderson’s excellent real life sci fi series called UFO? I remember the excitement when I first saw this series with the mixture of live action and the brilliant cut away to models that made it look so futuristic.
Of course there were no computer tricks those days. It really still stands up for me. I also loved the accent of the actor who played Commander Stryker.
Another great voice in the show as Patrick Allan himself.
And one more fact (I watch too much) the female pilots were led by Aneysha Brough who also had a TV show for children at the same-time called Lift Off with Aneysha.

Ed Bishop I think played Commander Stryker, it was a good series for It’s time and I remember George Cole [Arthur Dailey] even appearing in an episode and Stuart Damon from my favourite series ‘The Champions’.
