Seventies Man

I loved the Saturday night show on BBC1 with Esther Rantzen called Thats Life. It lasted so many years and was a champion of consumer rights and loads of silly inserts about the funny side of life. It was funny and in the next minute you would have tears coming down your face at a sad story.

One of the presenters was Paul Heiney gave up broadcasting in 1990 and became a farmer using only old fashioned ways. He went broke big time.
