Seventies Man	I am amazed that after all these years I can sit down and watch this classic TV show on mainstream TV. I suppose when something is that good it just never dates. ‘Don’t tell him Pike and ‘Stupid Boy” still makes me laugh now. But when you watch back the closing titles and see that all the guys have now gone to that platoon in heaven it makes the smile vanish just a little. We lost Clive Dunn in 2012, yet he always looked the oldest in the show. Can anyone remember if we ever did see Capt. Mainwarings wife?

Rennie	To be honest I don’t recall seeing here in any episodes if I’d seen this question before yesterday I could have asked a nice chap I met at the gift show. He had every episode on DVD and even some that hadn’t been shown. I’m sure he would have known.
