I was listening to Johnny Walker on Sunday and was remembering the time he had his lunch time show on Radio One and he use to have the midweek chart countdown on a Tuesday. The chart No.1 was just after 1pm so I had to listen to the last part of it wearing a small ear piece which went down the back of my blazer and into my fabulous transistor radio.

Everyone would be asking me what was No.1 during the lesson. MUD normally.

I would hazard a guess that it wasn’t Dynamite which incidentally was actually written for and turned down by Sweet, it was I believe great tune called Crazy.

I never knew it was a SWEET reject. It reminds me of some of the B sides by Sweet that were very rock type tunes-not the glam stuff at all.
