Remember going to Saturday Morning Pictures when I was a kid. Also anyone remember going to the pictures and joining a film half way through and then you could stay there for most of the day.
They were the days!! I remember going to see the towering inferno and stayed there for the 2nd viewing too.

Saturday morning pictures was great. Can remember the 3 stooges, Flash Gordon and the big play fight down at the front every time the lights came up. Also was the ritual of whistling when any dodgy kissing came on screeen…. achh shouldnt be allowed.

I remember watching Flash Gordon. I would see him fall into the it of lions one saturday. The next saturday he never fell in the pit. Those were the days that they could get away with it!!

How about the lady with the ice creams who came around in the interval. We used to get two films back then I think. If my brain cells are working today!

Yes. It was a unknown film t the start followed by a large queue to get the ice cream of the laady walking up and down the aisles. This all had to be timed before the main feature stared.

Thats right. Remember rushing to get the icecream in case we was the last in the queue just before the lights started to dim ….. very embarrasing. Im sure the ice cream tasted better back then too !!

It did. Now you have to go outside and get served by a spotty youth and get charged a fortune for a coke
