Daimler Limousine

Seen on state occasions throughout the world since its introduction in 1968. Daimler’s limousine was joined last year by a landaulette built to order only. The beautifully furnished bodywork is by Vanden Plas. The all-independent suspension is by Jaguar who also provide the twin-cam six-cylinder engine. Electric window lifts and air conditioning are available. Upholstery is in West of England cloth.

Daimler’s VIP car, the 358 cm wheelbase Limousine, has coach- work by Vanden Plas, and seats flve in the rear enclosed-drive compartment. Powered by the Daimler derivative of the 4.2′ litre twin overhead camshaft Jaguar engine. it has automatic transmission as standard. The long wheelbase ensures a smooth ride for the chauffeur’driven passengers who sit on luxurious West of England cloth.

In addition to the Limousine model there is also a Landaulette version with folding-head section at the rear. Altogether the Daimler Limousine will accommodate eight adults.
