Using a compact body with shorter tail than the Dolomite or 1500 TC. Triumph produce a compact economical family saloon with choice of two or four doors and 1300 or 1500 pushrod engines. Construction is conventional, with a driven axle on four radius arms and coil springs. The 1300 is a single-carburetter engine but the 1500 has two SUs. The 1500 also has disc front brakes.
