The Persuaders! – 1971
In 1971 Lew Grade of the ATV network in the UK wanted to produce a show that would have global impact. A show that he could sell to America and beyond, something amazing was therefore needed. So he approached the two superstar actors of the time Rogr More and Tony Curtiss to front The Persuaders.
From the very start this programme was different. The excitement of it dates back to 1971 now for one of the most expensive shows of that time, this must see TV starred the soon to be James Bond man, and the ad libbing hell raiser Tony Curtis. It was a series that the two were paid big money to come together in an adventure series that went to some of the most exotic location around the world.
