Absolutely stunning
This factual, and very real, account of the life of Jesus Christ and those most closely associated with Him, has never been bettered. An all star cast, starring Robert Powell in the title role, with such luminaries as Anne Bancroft, Olivia Hussey, Sir Laurence Olivier, Stacy Keach, Rod Steiger, Ernest Borgnine and others, to name a few, give compelling performances in their individual roles for the entire movie. I have seen numerous films on the most important man in all of Creation, and I have yet to see one that even comes close to grabbing my attention and having me on the edge of my seat all the way through. I heartily recommend this movie and I dare you not to be moved by this fascinating tale.
