Brazil’s squad for the tournament featured Rivelino Jairzinho Gerson Tostao and Clodoaldo which is now widely considered as one of the greatest football teams of all time.Pele played in six World Cup qualifying matches scoring six goals and they met Italy in the final where Pele scored the opener and set up goals for Jairzinho and Carlos Alberto.Brazil won the match 4-1 keeping the Jules Rimet Trophy indefinitely.
