Muhammad Ali v Liston – Image of the Century framed presentation

This stunning special edition presentation shows Ali snarling over Sonny Liston after knocking him out in the fight held on May 25 1965 at Lewiston Maine.Voted as the image of the century it typifies his power and prowess in and out of the ring. Ali knocked him out in Round 1 that became known as the ‘phantom punch’ as many say Ali never hit Liston. Ali himself said “I hit him so fast no one ever saw it”.The photograph is an original press photo that is presented in a super thick black wood surround with inset mounts and an engraved plaque that lists the title and a full description of the presentation. It measures an impressive 49cm by 35cm (approx) and is a unique item of Boxing memorabilia.A great and unique gift for any occasion.
