The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes – 1971
This was made for ITV and was one of the first drama series to be nearly entirley made onto very expensive video tape. Thames TV made the programme, and twenty six episdodes were made over the two years. Graham Greenes brothe rHugh was partially responsible for the series as it stemmed from an idea he had. Hugh went on to be director general of the BBC.
