The fun Saturday night show that was based on a Dutch TV show. Bruce was a great choice for the UK version as he was use to game show segments during his years on the LIVE at the palladium TV shows. Not only did he enjoy a great working relationship with his co-host Anthea Turner, but it turned into a romance, and then into marriage.
The shows whole concept was that competing families would compete with each other over various fun games, but the novelty value was that the family would have to consist of a younger and older family member. The humour was from the families competing, but also the non stop razor humour from Bruce.
