you think psychedelics was only the 60s man?
You really do have to see Chorlton & The Wheelies to understand why this is archetypal in the UK. A children’s television series from broad casted in the 1970’s. Its surrealism has made it timeless. Imagine all taking all the drugs in the 60’s and that doesn’t come close to its psychedelic creation. the evil witch Fenella, who lives with her army of evil toadstools lives in a giant kettle has cast a spell upon Wheelie World, using the surly Claptrap Von Spillderbeans, her book of spells.
Wheelies are wheeled talking balls and are happy and energetic if it wasn’t for Fenella’s spell. Chorlton then appears, a perpetually Happy Dragon, speaks like he’s from Yorkshire. Chorlton brings back happiness and Fenella continuously tries to crush them.
