Cruyff Classic FC Barcelona 1970s (home long sleeved)

Cruyff Classic FC Barcelona 1970’s (home long sleeved). Cruijff left Ajax early in the 1973/74 season for Barcelona after 318 matches and 250 goals when his team-mates elected Piet Keizer as captain instead of himself. It disappointed Johan. "Barca" could offer a better salary as well and that of course helped luring him to the Catalan capital. Cruijff’s immediate presence in the team helped Barcelona win a Spanish league championship that same season – their first in 14 years. TOFFS are privileged to be working with ‘The Johan Cruyff Foundation’ which supports sports and play for children worldwide. Re-creating perfect replicas of the shirts worn by Johan Cruyff including Holland, Barcelona, Ajax, Washington Dips, La Aztecs and Cosmos.

Growing up in the 70's you were forced to pick a football team very early on and schooldays were made up of ribbing your mates if your team beat theirs so you always picked the top teams and not necessarily the local team (Leyton Orient weren't noted for their first division presence) to avoid the abuse if your team lost.

It's with regard to these memories that I'm exceptionally pleased to tell you that we've teamed up with the UK's leading online retro football shirt merchant to bring you all the old retro football shirts our heroes used to wear whilst we watched them on the terraces or on "The Big Match" .
