Seventies Man

I had a 70s radio station on a lot of the time over the Christmas period. This allowed me to enjoy the music of my past, of course it was littered with classic 1970s Christmas music.
Some I had forgotten about were classics like-
SHOWADDYWADDY, GILBERT O’SULLIVAN and the WOMBLES.

Merry Christmas

Hey mr Christmas is a classic 70s Xmas song which is hardly ever played now. When Showaddywaddy were at butlins a few years back in December they didn’t even do it then!!!!!

Welcome Paul
yes I agree that is certainly in my top 3, The top one has to be Greg Lake for the xmas feel, but for party records after a few party fours it’s got to be Slade and Wizzard.
