Does anyone have any old 8 tracks? We have one here by good old Ronco called 20 Blazing Bullets featuring Eric Clapton and Disco Tex but sadly have no 8 track player.

I remember my uncle having an 8 track player in his car and I was so amazed. ALTHOUGH his choice of music was Japanese electronic music. I would ask him to show e how it works and the sound was fantastic at the time.
After an hour the tapes got damaged. That was my last experience of 8 tracks.

Apparently the quality was very good, better than cassettes as the tape was wider. Can’t confirm that myself tho

My dad had a collection of 8 tracks in the home. Mostly it was classical music and they all eventually broke- but Rennie is right they sounded much deeper than the humble cassette tape

I remember my mate being a huge Elvis fan and playing Elvis golden greats I think it was called in the very early 70s.
