Sole surviving two-stroke car on the British market, the Wartburg is a low-cost import from East Germany based on former DKW designs. Lubrication is by oil in the petrol. Equipment includes a radiator blind to keep the engine warm in winter, reclining seats, cigarette lighter and electric windscreen washer. Front brakes are now discs and there is a new instrument panel.
