£1,535 circa 1976
Developed from the original Mini but with new frontal styling and larger engine, the Clubman saloon has Hydrolustic suspension with water interconnection front-to-rear to give a pitch-free, level ride. The station wagon which has to handle greater load variations retains the Mini rubber suspension. It is unusual in having twin rear doors. The AP four-speed automatic transmission is an optional extra.
