Chrysler’s French-built large saloon has four doors and a luxury interior with cloth upholstered seats. Automatic transmission is standard on the 2-litre, but the 180 (with 1.8- litre motor) has a four-speed manual gearbox. Both models are full five-seaters with cavernous luggage compartments, and both have heated rear windows and vinyl-covered roof panels as standard. Like the new Chrysler Alpine, the 180/2-Litre -was designed in Coventry, but is manufactured at the Simca plant at Poissy near Paris. A fast motorway cruiser with handsome big car looks.
