The original type Maxi , introduced in 1969, and still one of the most useful cars on the road. It’s 1.5 litre overhead cam shaft engine is in unit with a five speed gearbox, the 5th speed of which provides fussless, economical motorway cruising.

The 5 door body has a lift up tailgate and folding rear seats which provide a big luggage area. With rear seats erect there is still a large boot , and if the rear seat is folded backwards and the front seats reclined forward, the Maxi interior makes up into a double bedroom. Cars of the 70’s

Something that is always of interest, especially to us blokes is cars, so looking back on the old motors of the 70s was certainly something of a treat. With a lot of thanks to all my classic car friends we've put together a great collection of 70s cars including the iconic Capri for you to have a look through, and to make it a little more interesting, we've written it all as if we were in the 70s and even inserted the going price for the cars at that time.
